Event Details

WeDidThis.org.uk is a 'crowdfunding' website for the UK arts sector, where artists and arts organisations seek to build a large number of small donations to fund their work. Every donation to a WeDidThis project entitles the donor to a unique 'reward', including exclusive access to the creative process, keepsakes from the project, and special recognition and thank yous.

Since our launch in late January 2011, over 30 arts projects have hit their funding goals, including exciting new Classical Music, Visual Arts, Dance and Theatre. Join the 1500 people funding WeDidThis project by picking your favourite in the WeDidThis marketplace.

We'd love it if you join us to celebrate our first birthday, with a special evening including great arts performances, the chance to meet creatives from the projects seeking funding on WeDidThis this month, and unique opportunities to fund their projects.

The party will be in London, and we'll announce the venue soon- but do sign up now, and we'll see you there!

WeDidThis is a new not-for-profit 'crowdfunding' website for UK arts projects

Our ambition is to help transform and strengthen the UK arts sector by creating a place for people to support the arts and receive some unique and compelling rewards in return.

Every month we'll be hosting an event at an exclusive venue to celebrate one month of successful funding, and to introduce new projects and artists.

Go to www.wedidthis.org.uk for more information.
